About This Opportunity

This is a first-of-its-kind opportunity for experienced technical line managers and technology managers in India to take a pivotal role in delivering Ericsson's 5G solutions. In this role, you will lead teams in development and quality assurance securing best in class product resilience and In Service Performance. Your teams will work in an end to end customer like test environment in close collaboration with the design teams.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor high-performance engineering teams securing cutting-edge 5G NR product performance.
- Collaborate with global R&D units to integrate features and align technical direction.
- Ensure software delivery meets rigorous quality, performance, and conformance requirements.
- In a customer-oriented context, enable and support Continuous Deployment.
- Drive innovative quality assurance concepts to secure operational efficiency leadership.
You will bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of telecom R&D experience with at least 3 years in a line management or technical management role.
- Proven expertise in quality assurance activities
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale software delivery and agile development.
- Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable Skills:- Exposure to O-RAN architectures and virtualization/containerization frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration in telecom systems.
- Understanding of 3GPP 5G NR standards.
