Job Description

Position : IT Project Manager - Investment / Wealth Management

Team Size : 8-10 (internal as well as external)

Experience : 12 years + (at least 6 years in IT - Investments / Wealth Management)

Domain Exposure:

  • Wealth Management
  • Private Banking / Advisory
  • Investment Products: PMS, AIF, Mutual Funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, NPS, FDs

Project Experience

  • Experience of managing large projects, exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle in programs
  • Must have experience of at least 5-6 implementation projects
  • At least 2 digital projects including an internet exposed website and mobile apps

Technical Skills Expected:

  • General awareness of network and OS concepts (Windows, Unix, Linux)
  • General awareness of Cloud concepts (Good to have)
  • Database : Oracle and / or Microsoft SQL (good to have: Mongo, PostGresql)
  • Front End : Microsoft technological stack and / or J2EE stack, Open source stack based applications, Angular
  • Web / Backend : IIS, Tomcat, WAS, exposure to nginx, node, pm2
  • Mobile & Emerging technologies: Awareness of latest trends in mobile applications, ML, AI

Skills expected

  • Good Interpersonal Skills & Communication - Verbal & Written
  • Ability to elicit requirements from business users
  • Should be able to understand a given product architecture & design and functionality
  • Ability to understand requirements through requirement documents & user interactions
  • Ability to find unstated scenarios/needs
  • Ability to understand how the intended solution will integrate in the overall systems landscape
  • Must be knowledgeable in software design principles & should be able to review solution designs from a feasibility, scalability, extensibility, maintenance perspective
  • Ability to escalate and seek interventions from senior project stakeholders in anticipation of such risks and manage the project on track
  • Ability to engage various levels of stakeholders, both internal & external
  • Ability to guide the team to identify & build test scenarios & test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • Planning and executing Application Performance Tests with SMEs
  • Ability to structure & schedule training & knowledge transfer sessions for users, IT operations teams and L2 support team
  • Participate in IT audits - internal as well as external
  • Understanding of Application Security best practices and coordinating Application Security Testing
  • Vendor Management

This is not a Development profile as most of the work will be to customize, implement & integrate off the shelf products.

Production Support Profiles will not suit this role.
