Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Techno-Commercial Engineer to support tendering, estimation, and proposal preparation. The role involves bridging technical and commercial functions, ensuring accurate interpretation of project requirements and submission of competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Responsibilities

· Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

· Prepare technical compliance statements and proposal documents

· Coordinate with design and project teams for technical inputs

· Participate in pre-bid meetings and client discussions

· Assist in solution finalization as per project requirements

2. Commercial Responsibilities

· Prepare cost estimates, bid pricing, and techno-commercial proposals

· Conduct vendor enquiries and comparative analysis

· Support contract review and risk assessment

· Assist in vendor and client negotiations

· Maintain costing records and proposal documentation

3. Coordination & Reporting

· Coordinate with procurement, execution, and finance teams

· Support variation analysis and additional costing during execution

· Maintain proposal database and documentation records

· Ensure timely submission of bids and reports

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

· B.Tech / B.E./M.Tech/M.E in Mechanical,Diploma

Experience:

·  Minimum 5 years of experience in techno-commercial, tendering, or estimation roles

·  Prior experience in steel, infrastructure, or fabrication industry is preferred

·  Hands-on exposure in projects related to structural works, DG (Diesel Generator), substations, transmission towers, or similar industrial projects will be an added advantage

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of tendering and estimation processes

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs

· Good understanding of costing and vendor comparison

· Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation

· Good communication and negotiation skills

· Ability to work under strict deadlines
