We are seeking a skilled Technician in Radiology & Imaging Sciences to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs under the supervision of radiologists.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Assist in the administration of contrast agents as needed for certain imaging tests.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the imaging area and equipment.
• Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Imaging Sciences, or a related field.
• Certification in Radiology or Imaging Sciences is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and understanding imaging techniques.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
