Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer with excellent communication skills and a flair for media content creation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging documentation, tutorials, and multimedia materials that make complex information easy to understand for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation such as user manuals, API guides, FAQs, and online help content.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather and simplify technical information.
Create visual and multimedia content (videos, infographics, animations, or screen recordings) to support written materials.
Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, style, and accessibility standards.
Manage document versions and updates based on product releases and feedback.
Assist in developing training materials, presentations, and internal communication assets.
Use tools like Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Canva, or video editing tools for content creation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in documentation tools (MS Office, Google Docs, Confluence, or Notion).
Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere, or Camtasia).
Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in software, IT, or product documentation.
Familiarity with HTML, Markdown, or CMS tools.
Creativity in presenting information through visuals and multimedia.
