Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user friendly technical documentation for software products, systems, and processes. The role works closely with engineering, product, and support teams to translate complex technical concepts into well-structured documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation including user guides, manuals, FAQs, and release notes.
- Develop API documentation, system documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and SMEs to gather technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise content.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Update documentation to reflect product changes and new releases.
- Manage documentation repositories and version control.
- Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and technical accuracy.
- Support customer support and training teams with documentation needs.
- Maintain documentation standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation.
- Strong understanding of software development and technical concepts.
- Experience creating documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and content management systems.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
