Job Description
- Responsible for supporting Instruction Manuals / Standard operating procedures / Automation Manuals development for drill rigs, Loaders, and Trucks.
- Work with internal teams to obtain an understanding/knowledge of the Epiroc product and the writing procedures within the Global TIS.
- Generate improvement ideas and apply new technology to develop technical information to meet customer needs and business objective. Lead improvement activities that reduce translation cost, information complexity, and improve content quality.
- Ensure execution of tasks in strict compliance with guidelines & best practices and delivery of defect free output on-time and ensure effective and timely communication with customers
- Interact with customers on regular basis, obtain feedback and implement actions to improve and sustain good customer relations
- Ensure following of Epiroc values, integrity and nurture open culture and perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Establish and maintain relationships develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others both internal and external.

Work Experience
Experience requirements
- Minimum 3-6 years of industrial experience with technical writing preferably in automotive or heavy equipment industry or similar industry
- Experience with structured authoring and the development of modular content for single-sourcing and reuse by using enterprise CMS.
- Ability to review and write content from specifications as needed
- Experience in using simplified technical English.Experience in xml editors such as X-metal or Oxygen preferred.
- Experienced in Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe illustrator tools.
- Technical illustration experience added advantage
Knowledge
- Good knowledge on Technical writing methodology and tools
- Should have a capability to analyse customer requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Excellent Global English writing skills and using various style guides, grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure, and style.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering / any other Degree courses
