Responsibilities
- Research and gather information from subject matter experts to create accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Develop user manuals, installation guides, and online help documentation.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve documentation.
- Update and maintain existing documentation based on product changes or user feedback.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or Microsoft Word.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content management systems and version control.
