- Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to distill complex information into understandable formats.
- Utilize various tools to design documentation layouts, templates, and graphics.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on documentation needs and timelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices for technical writing.
- Perform user testing of documentation to ensure clarity and usability.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in writing and editing for technical documents.
- Strong command of the English language, grammar, and style.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing or a similar role.
- Experience in creating documentation for software or technical products.
- Prior experience in Agile or development environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of software development processes and terminology.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
