Job Description
- Develop internal and external user-friendly documentation in-line with editorial, legal, clinical, and marketing standards.
- Develop, publish, and maintain high quality user-centric content based on organization standards set in our Information Model within release timelines.
- Use structured authoring and the established DITA framework to create and maintain content.
- Responsible for training on the automated documentation approval process in Salesforce.
- Interview SMEs to obtain product information from requirements, specifications, and user stories to create and update content.
- Attend and participate in UA team and project team meetings and activities.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communications, or a related field.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years technical writing experience.
- 3+ years technical writing experience in a software environment.
- Experience or familiarity with Salesforce.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of: Single-sourcing authoring tools, topic-based writing, minimalism and Agile methodology and basic knowledge of peer editing; minimalism, topic-based and role-based content development, proficiency in Adobe Acrobat; structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; multiple software products.
