Education

Bachelor's degree in Engg, Science, BCA, or MCA, journalism

Excellent written skills and knowledge of the technical writing nuances Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and workflows
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to discuss and explain design options Knowledge of Adobe

Tools Knowledge (Any of the following)

  • Confluence / Notion / SharePoint
  • Adobe Robohelp / HTML (basic)
  • Screenshot & diagram tools (Snagit, Visio, Draw.io)
  • Version control (basic Git knowledge is a plus)

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer with around 2 years of experience who can create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for products, systems, and processes. The role involves working closely with engineering, product, UX, and QA teams to translate complex information into easy-to-understand content.

  • Create and maintain user guides, manuals, FAQs, release notes, and help articles
  • Develop technical and functional documentation for internal and external users
  • Work with developers, product managers, designers, and QA to gather requirements
  • Participate in reviews to ensure documentation accuracy
  • Align documentation with UI/UX changes and product updates
  • Ensure documentation follows style guides and templates
  • Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and structure
  • Proofread and edit content for clarity and correctness
