Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Training Design & Delivery

  • Develop, deliver, and continuously refine training programs for warehouse staff, supervisors, managers, customers, and key stakeholders across geographies.
  • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive training framework with annual training calendars, structured syllabi, and detailed session schedules.
  • Focus on safety protocols, process compliance, automation usage, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure onboarding programs for new hires accelerate ramp-up time and establish strong foundations in GreyOrange's systems, tools, and standards.

Learning Needs Analysis

  • Collaborate with operations leaders, floor managers, and process owners to identify skills gaps, recurring challenges, and training priorities.
  • Translate operational requirements into structured learning interventions with measurable outcomes.

Content Development

  • Create practical, engaging training materials including visual aids, process simulations, hands-on demos, and modular content.
  • Develop comprehensive process documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ensure accessibility for mixed literacy levels and multicultural teams.

Performance Measurement

  • Track training effectiveness through KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, safety compliance, and error rates.
  • Integrate assessments, knowledge checks, and certification processes to validate competencies and drive continuous workforce capability building.
  • Provide feedback and recommend corrective actions when training outcomes fall short.

Culture & Knowledge Sharing

  • Promote a continuous learning culture via structured peer-to-peer knowledge sharing on the warehouse floor.
  • Support change management during the adoption of new technologies or processes.

Required Background:

  • 3–6 years of experience in warehouse operations — e-commerce, retail, or 3PL preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, inventory control, safety standards, and floor operations.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to engage teams at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, tech-driven environments with tight turnaround times.
  • Prior exposure to process training, audits, SOP creation, or compliance programs is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in Training, Learning & Development, or Instructional Design (e.g., ASTD, CPTM, Kirkpatrick, ADDIE methodology).
  • Experience designing digital or blended learning solutions (e.g., e-learning, mobile learning, video-based training).
  • Exposure to automation or robotics-enabled warehouse environments.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms, training analytics tools, and content development software.
  • Experience working in global or cross-cultural workforce environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and stakeholder management skills.
