In this role, you will lead a high-performing engineering team, combining hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with product teams to define technical roadmaps, oversee the full software development lifecycle, and ensure operational excellence across production systems. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and driving adoption of modern architectures, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Accountabilities
- Lead by example in technical decision-making, ensuring adherence to SOLID principles, coding standards, and high-quality engineering practices
- Drive development using .NET Core, Azure services, and Clean Architecture to deliver scalable and efficient systems
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely delivery with operational excellence
- Champion unit testing, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines to maintain reliable solutions
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and optimize technical solutions
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical skills and engineering standards
- Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Monitor production systems for reliability, scalability, and efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex systems
- Strong expertise in .NET Core, Azure, and modern architectures like Clean Architecture
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing scalable, multi-tier web services
- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and live-site operations
- Strong communication skills to engage technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to enforce best practices and foster a culture of ownership and accountability
