Role Summary
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining business system integrations and financial data workflows. The developer will lead and mentor a small team while working across .NET, Angular, and Azure environments to ensure high-quality, compliant, and scalable solutions. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical depth and leadership experience in financial or revenue recognition systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust front-end applications using Angular for component design and performance optimization.
- Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using .NET integrated with business systems.
- Architect and manage data operations using MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, optimization, and stored procedure development.
- Develop and administer ETL workflows using SSIS for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Lead integration projects between business systems and global data warehouses (GDW).
- Support development and planned decommissioning of integrations and internal websites.
- Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of production issues.
- Drive performance improvement, automation, and scalability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition and SOX standards.
- Maintain documentation, coding best practices, and standard development procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with finance, operations, and IT teams on technical and business initiatives.
Required Skills
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience in IT business systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of Angular, .NET, MongoDB, SSIS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Leadership experience managing small development teams (3-5 members).
- Expertise in API design, data modelling, and backend performance optimization.
- Experience working with financial data workflows and revenue recognition systems.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Experience with automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prior experience in SOX-compliant or financial system environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional Information
- Shift Timing: Night Shift (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST).
- Immediate availability preferred.
- This role includes both technical development and leadership responsibilities.
