Radiowalla Network Limited is a leading in-store audio solutions company serving 600+ brands across India, Middle East and Africa. As part of our digital expansion, we are scaling our cloud-based Video Content Management Solutions (VCMS), including digital screens, media players and centralized content publishing systems.

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Team Lead - Digital Screens & VCMS to take complete ownership of the department.

Role Overview

The Team Lead will be responsible for end-to-end management of Radiowalla's cloud-based video content management ecosystem. This includes technical leadership, post-sales client coordination, installation oversight, troubleshooting, inventory control, partner management, and team supervision.

This is a leadership role requiring both technical expertise and operational ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Infrastructure Management

  • Lead and oversee the complete Video Content Management infrastructure.
  • Ensure smooth publishing, synchronization, and playout of content across all client locations.
  • Monitor content download logs, playtime reports, and device health dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as:
  • Offline screens
  • Playlist publishing errors
  • Media Not Found issues
  • Sync failures
  • Manage controller configurations and device compatibility (Windows/Android-based systems).
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of media players, controllers, and digital screens.
  • Ensure network stability and bandwidth optimization for large-scale deployments.

2. Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and manage the backend operations and technical support team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and monitoring sessions.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure timely resolution of escalations and critical issues.
  • Take complete ownership of department performance and deliverables.

3. Client Management (Post-Sales)

  • Handle client calls and meetings post onboarding.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for key clients.
  • Co-ordinate with the Content Team for accurate mapping and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and playback standards.
  • Share periodic technical reports and performance updates with clients and management.

4. Hardware & Inventory Management

  • Maintain complete product inventory (Hardware, Software & Supporting Devices).
  • Track stock of media players, controllers, screens, cables, and accessories.
  • Co-ordinate with procurement for replenishment.
  • Manage hardware vendors and technology partners.
  • Ensure smooth device replacement, upgrades, and warranty tracking.

5. Installation & Field Coordination

  • Co-ordinate with field teams and POC's for installations.
  • Oversee rollout of new projects across locations.
  • Manage device deployments and remote configuration.
  • Ensure proper documentation of installed systems.

6. Strategy & Innovation

  • Develop long-term technology roadmap for VCMS scalability and performance enhancement.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies such as:
  • 60 FPS playout optimization
  • Remote device management
  • Automation tools
  • Track system performance metrics and share management reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 47 years of experience in Digital Signage / Video CMS / IT Infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Cloud-based CMS platforms
  • Networking basics (Bandwidth, IP, Firewalls)
  • Windows/Android-based media systems
  • Experience managing technical teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tight timelines.
  • Inventory and vendor management experience preferred.
