Responsibilities
- The incumbent must do the balancing act of managing people engaged in calibration & repair activity together with hands on contribution to production work
- Provide direction & technical expertise to the team during unit trouble shooting & help them escalate or collaborate on issues internally to resolve a situation
- Task allocation per individual skills/bandwidth & performance evaluation of team members, identifying areas of improvement providing feedback, creating employee development plans & mentoring individuals for success
- Managing attrition as per Services team requirements & interviewing & hiring resources
- Participate in business reviews & lead, assist & present project status
- Provide robust solutions & decisions to trouble shoot operational & technical problems
- Assist in the development of and drive the execution of team plans in alignment with India service delivery objectives
- Report operational performance (BFT, Dashboard) per established schedules; ensure that measures are met or exceeded and take corrective actions as required
- Completes on-going coaching /review sessions with employees to ensure alignment, understanding and accountability for achieving organizational goals and objectives through use of VCP along with frequent interactions at the same time keeping individuals motivated
- Accountable for the adherence to organizational policies and guidelines by the employees
- Responsible for process improvements, automation & productivity gains
- Is the first point of escalation for customers & internal partners & takes ownership to solve through collaboration, communication & out of box thinking
- Understands the KGSO Quality norms & meets them
- Develop technical skills in team members in line with KGSO India future business plans or if there is a gap identified this is updated periodically in the KGSO India Skill Matrix sheet. This must be driven in highly structured way & through the employee's training calendar & incudes assessment & sign offs
