About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Support Engineer with expertise in Guidewire to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. This hybrid role requires 5 or more years of experience in the insurance domain, specifically with Guidewire BillingCenter, GOSU programming, and Guidewire Cloud environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced support for Guidewire applications, managing complex tickets, and supporting ongoing system enhancements. You will lead and support L1.5 and L2 teams, coordinate with integration teams, and ensure seamless operation of Guidewire systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects, contribute to system stability, and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the insurance domain, with a focus on Guidewire applications.
  • Guidewire Certification, preferably Guidewire ACE Certification.
  • Proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and Guidewire Configuration.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud and BAU operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire Web Services and Integration Gateway.
  • Hands-on experience with GOSU programming language.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire ski updates, release management, and version control tools like BitBucket and TeamCity.
  • Experience supporting Guidewire integrations with AWS S3, Data Dog, and App Event systems.
  • Excellent coordination skills with cross-functional teams and other integration units.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for Guidewire applications, resolving complex L3 tickets related to bugs, minor enhancements, and compliance issues.
  • Lead and support L1.5 and L2 support teams, ensuring timely resolution and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage Guidewire system configurations, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Coordinate with external and internal teams for seamless integration using Guidewire Web Services and Integration Gateway.
  • Participate in release management activities, including planning, testing, and deployment of Guidewire updates.
  • Support Guidewire BillingCenter operations, including billing processes, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining integration points with cloud services such as AWS S3 and Data Dog.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing system performance and recommending enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
