Job Description

This role focuses on owning and resolving complex customer-reported networking issues while delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience. The position involves handling critical escalations, advanced troubleshooting across enterprise, campus, and data center networks, and contributing to continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer-reported issues end-to-end with a strong focus on resolution and customer impact
  • Lead critical escalations and drive issues to closure through structured troubleshooting
  • Engage with internal product, engineering, and escalation teams to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Analyze and troubleshoot high-impact networking problems across enterprise and data center environments
  • Contribute to knowledge creation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support mentoring and skill development activities within the support organization

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong logical approach to troubleshooting complex networking issues
  • Solid understanding of networking architectures and switching technologies including xSTP, VRRP, LACP, 802.1X, CoS, and multicast
  • In-depth knowledge of IP protocols such as ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Hands-on understanding of wireless standards, Power over Ethernet, and multi-chassis architectures
  • Experience with data center networking protocols including EVPN, VXLAN, BGP, and OSPF
  • Self-driven learner with a continuous improvement mindset

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with scripting using Python or Shell
  • Exposure to cloud-based networking solutions
  • Relevant industry certifications such as JNCIE, CCIE, or cloud and wireless certifications
