About The Role
As an L2 TAC Engineer, you will handle complex customer issues, provide in-depth troubleshooting, and act as a technical bridge between customers and advanced engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot medium to high-complexity issues across Check Point products.
- Analyze logs, debug traffic flows, and identify root causes.
- Provide advanced configuration and optimization recommendations.
- Manage escalations from L1 and mentor junior engineers.
- Drive cases to resolution while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Product teams on defect analysis.
- Contribute to internal knowledge articles and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Check Point Security Gateways & Management.
- SQL Database knowledge is recommended.
- Experience to handle Linux servers and Windows machine.
- VPN (Site-to-Site, Remote Access),NAT, routing, policy troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, packet flow, and traffic inspection Linux systems and command-line tools
- Ability to independently own and resolve cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good to Have:
- Check Point CCSA / CCSE certification.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of IPS, Threat Prevention, and SSL Inspection.
