Job Title : Associate - Technical Support

Job Location - Kolkata ( Work From Office)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Technical Support in Camera Operations. This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting camera systems, managing data processing dashboards, and ensuring seamless execution of video capture and processing tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily system checks, resolving technical issues, optimizing server allocations, and maintaining data accuracy and synchronization.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily AM Checks (AM Shift)

  • Verify that camera drives have sufficient storage space for captures.
  • Review E Drive space on affiliate servers and unsync games from Dropbox.
  • Confirm iBoots are online and operational.
  • Launch the ACQ tool to ensure all cameras are streaming and included in the capture.
  • Validate any removal of cameras with documented reasons.
  • Ensure home and away team rosters are available in the ACQ tool.
  • Collect 3-5 backgrounds for FPS review.
  • Check focus for each camera.
  • Perform pregame drift.
  • Confirm that date and time are synchronized across ACQ servers using time.is (expected: <1 sec deviation).

Troubleshooting AM Check Issues

  • Power cycle cameras in the data probe manager.
  • Restart iBoots in the DMU and escalate offline iBoots if necessary.
  • Adjust camera focus using ecapture/GeniCam and the ACQ tool.
  • Modify W32Time settings on the server to maintain synchronization.
  • Investigate MP4 files that have not fully generated or incomplete video generation (VG).

Data Processing Dashboard Management (AM & PM Shift)

  • Monitor data processing speeds to ensure efficiency.
  • Verify that server allocation aligns with processing demands.
  • Ensure motion_sequence values meet performance expectations.
  • Track Dugout upload percentages and report any underperforming sessions.
  • Verify expected session IDs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot any Monday error statuses.

Troubleshooting Processing Issues

  • Identify and resolve SM generation issues.
  • Address server allocation automation breakdowns and manually configure servers if needed.
  • Perform basic SA tool checks on NAS and PRCs.
  • Escalate persistent PRC issues, such as continual rebooting.

Weekly Responsibilities (AM Shift)

  • Conduct lab skeleton checks to verify system integrity.
  • Perform a Support Slack test to confirm communication channels are functional.

Session Management (AM & PM Shift)

  • Claim and set up incoming sessions for processing.
  • Conduct post-session verification, including:
  • Checking for game ID, drift, video generation, server allocation, skeleton checks, and DS Board updates.
  • Adjust concurrent thread counts in VG properties for multiple sessions.
  • Escalate frozen camera sessions as needed.

Roster Updates (AM & PM Shift)

  • Perform and validate necessary roster updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with video capture and processing tools.
  • Proficiency in managing and monitoring data processing workflows.
  • Experience working with server allocation and automation tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • relevant experience in IT domain ( Mandatory)
