Job purpose:
The Technical Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of technical operations for the assigned fleet of vessels. This role is responsible for ensuring technical reliability, planning of maintenance and drydocking, and proactive support to the fleet. The role also focuses on crew competence, safety culture, and performance improvement through regular vessel visits and audits. This role also ensures compliance with the ISM Code, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001), and other maritime safety, environmental, ensures implementation of the Company's Safety Management System onboard and occupational health regulations. The role reports to and works under the strategic direction of the Manager Technical Fleet & Marine.

| Technical Budget Accuracy: 5% variance against approved annual technical budget. Weightage: 20%
| Planned Maintenance Completion Rate: 95% timely completion of planned jobs. Weightage: 15%
| Off-hire / Downtime Minimization: Reduce off-hire / technical downtime with 98% technical availability. Weightage: 15%
| Dry Dock Project Execution: 90% projects delivered on-time and 10% overrun. Weightage: 20%
| Safety & Environmental Incident Rate: Zero major incidents and 90% compliance score. Weightage: 5%

Education requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent, Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Chief Engineer) required.
