Bangalore / Chennai / Mumbai

Experience Required

6–8 Years

Work Mode & Shift

  • Hybrid Work Model
  • US Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM
  • Rotational on-call support including night shifts
  • No cab facility

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VDI Support Specialist (L2) with strong hands-on expertise in Omnissa Horizon/VMware Horizon environments.

The candidate should have experience in deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise VDI infrastructure in large-scale environments.

Candidate will work as part of the Support Team and should be comfortable handling user issues, infrastructure troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with OEM/vendors.

Must-Have SkillsExperience

  • Overall 6+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
    • Omnissa Horizon
    • VMware Horizon / Horizon View / VMware View
  • 4+ years of experience with VMware Enterprise Products & EUC Horizon
  • Must have worked on large-scale Horizon infrastructure deployments
  • Candidate should currently be working at L2 Support level
Technical Skills

  • Enterprise VDI environment support & troubleshooting
  • Omnissa Horizon Product Suite
  • Workspace ONE Access
  • Omnissa DEM
  • 3rd Party IDM Integration
  • VMware & Microsoft technologies
  • ESXi & vSphere administration
  • Windows Server Administration & troubleshooting
  • Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
  • TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, Switching & Routing fundamentals
  • Log Analysis & troubleshooting
  • Basic scripting/automation skills

Documentation & Support

  • Experience creating:
    • HLDs
    • LLDs
    • Solution documents
  • Good troubleshooting capability for Horizon Suite & user-level issues
  • Experience coordinating with OEMs/vendors like Microsoft & VMware
Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Team player with mentoring capability for L1 team members
  • Ability to conduct technical sessions
  • Customer-focused approach

Good-to-Have

  • VMware VCAP/VCIX Certification (Desktop & Mobility)
  • AWS/Azure Architect Certifications
  • Omnissa Horizon Certifications
  • Hybrid Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, On-Prem)

Educational Qualification

  • Any Engineering Degree
  • BSc / MCA / MCM / Diploma (IT Specialization)
