We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist (VDI) - L3 to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for end-users.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
- Provide L3 support for VDI environments, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize VDI performance and user experience.
- Monitor and report on VDI usage, performance metrics, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for VDI processes and configurations.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members and end-users on VDI best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in VDI technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization concepts and technologies.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
- Experience with storage solutions and networking fundamentals related to VDI.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise security protocols.
- Ability to script and automate tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
