Job Title: Technical Specialist (VDI)
Location: Remote (US Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM EST)
Experience: 8+ years IT infrastructure, 4+ years VMware Horizon & Omnissa Horizon expertise
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage VMware Horizon infrastructure in large environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve VDI and Horizon user issues
- Create and maintain HLD, LLD, and solution documentation
- Automate daily operations using scripting and log analysis
- Administer Windows Servers and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders for issue resolution
- Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge sharing
Required Skills
- Expertise in VMware Horizon, Omnissa WorkspaceONE Access, DEM, and IDM integrations
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure), ESXi, vSphere, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
- VMware VCAP/VCIX and AWS/Azure certifications preferred
- Excellent communication and English proficiency
- Willingness to work US shifts and on-call rotations
Education
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, IT, MCA, MCM, or relevant field
