Job Description
As an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with over 6 years of expertise in C/C++ development for Linux-based systems. Specialized in networking technologies including PON, Wi-Fi, and Mesh, with hands-on knowledge of protocols such as DHCP, IGMP, TR-069, IEEE standards, and Multi-AP specification.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Design and implement high-performance embedded software solutions for advanced networking systems.
- Contribute to protocol integration and optimization for Wi-Fi, Mesh, and PON systems.
- Collaborate across agile teams to deliver scalable and maintainable code.
- Act as a bridge between technical and business units, aligning development with product goals.
- Deeper understanding of containerization in embedded environments and its role in networking applications.
- Broaden expertise in Agile methodologies from a global, multi-site team perspective.
- Gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Enhance knowledge of emerging standards like Multi-AP and IEEE 1905 in real-world deployments.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline with 6+ years of experience in C/C++ development on Linux embedded systems.
- Networking protocols (DHCP, IGMP, TR-069, IEEE 802.11).
- Experience with GPON, Wi-Fi, and Mesh technologies.
- LXC-based container application development.
- Experience with solution positioning in competitive markets
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience working as a Product Owner for Agile teams.
- Familiarity with global, distributed development teams
- Skills in cross-functional collaboration (product, sales, marketing)
