Job Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Lead HL7 to join our Agile team in building and enhancing healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have strong HL7 expertise, experience with interface engines, and a deep understanding of US healthcare workflows. This role requires hands-on development, troubleshooting, and monitoring of healthcare data exchange interfaces while following industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new HL7 interfaces based on specifications.
- Implement enhancements and modifications to existing interfaces as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure high-quality, reliable interfaces.
- Monitor and support production-deployed interfaces for stability and performance.
- Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver efficient and scalable healthcare solutions.
- Work night shifts (6 PM 3 AM IST) to support US healthcare operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Engineering Degree (BE/BTech/BCS) or equivalent.
- Strong HL7 knowledge and practical implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one HL7 interface engine (Mirth, Ensemble, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, etc.).
- Experience working with US Healthcare workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with client stakeholders.
Preferred Skills (Desirable but Not Mandatory):
- Experience with FHIR and CCDA standards.
- Strong background in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Technical certifications in healthcare interoperability technologies (preferred).
