Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in workflow platforms, particularly Appian, to support the development, optimization, and production support of insurance workflow applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance processes, such as Policy Administration, Claims, and Underwriting, combined with hands-on experience in Appian or similar workflow automation platforms. This role will involve analyzing business needs, designing efficient workflows, and ensuring the stability and performance of implemented solutions.
Role And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements for insurance workflow applications.
- Understand end-to-end business processes within insurance domains (Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting) and identify areas for workflow automation using Appian.
- Work closely with development teams to design and configure workflows in Appian that streamline insurance processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance process efficiency and user experience through Appian capabilities.
- Ensure workflows align with best practices for scalability and performance.
- Assist with the deployment and integration of Appian-based workflow solutions with existing insurance platforms.
- Support the integration of Appian workflows with Policy Administration Systems, Claims Management Systems, and other enterprise tools.
Technical Qualifications
- Proficiency in Appian workflow configuration, process modeling, and integration capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving workflow-related issues.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools to support workflow troubleshooting.
