Job Purpose :
The position of a Technical Service Officer is primarily responsible for :
- Trouble shoots and resolves day-to-day technical problems from the product line/process to minimize rejection levels.
- Monitoring and data collection from the customers paint shop line.
- Checks and modifies the customers paint shop line based on knowledge of design manufacturing and application.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Trouble shoots day-to-day products or process issues at the customer's line
- Analyses and highlights to the team leader complex technical issues.
- Plans and visits the customer vendor sites for resolution of routine technical issues.
- Monitors, checks and documents paint/booth and machine parameters.
- Prepares and documents all technical problems and corrective actions
- Implements and assists the TSTL in performance of VA/VE activities.
- Assist TSTL in monitoring shut-down activities.
- Assists team leader/technical department in conducting new shade trial runs.
Qualification - BE/B Tech in Paint Technology/ MSC
Experience - Min 2 Years in the relevant field.
