About the Role
Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive business growth and manage key accounts effectively. This full-time position, based in Chennai , TamilNadu , requires a self-motivated and energetic individual who is passionate about developing and executing sales strategies, coaching a high-performing sales team, and achieving targets in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the Vice President of Sales and manage accounts independently.
Implement sales strategies to sustain existing business and achieve growth objectives.
Identify customer requirements relevant to the company's capabilities and manage the quotation and deal negotiation processes.
Establish and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within customer organizations.
Build and present organizational charts for accounts generating over $100K in revenue to senior leadership.
Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and senior management on go-to-market strategies.
Analyze booking trends and take necessary actions to improve performance across business units.
Facilitate the development of effective product and solution materials for the sales team.
Conduct periodic business review meetings with key accounts and manage customer expectations.
Maintain CRM activities, including managing opportunities and providing sales forecasts.
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of software sales experience, particularly in AI/ML, video, embedded systems, or sensor engineering.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish, with closed order values upwards of $500K.
Strong understanding of market trends and adaptability to follow them.
Excellent organizational skills and strategic planning capabilities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Experience managing large and complex organizations across multiple geographies.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Semiconductor, Automotive, Industry Automation, or Media industries.
Exposure to international sales, preferably in US, Europe, or APAC markets.
Ability to manage a maximum of 100 accounts, including key accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering; MBA preferred.
Demonstrated experience in sales leadership and strategic planning.
