About the Role

Sarang Agency is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive project sales and business development for our construction chemicals portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of construction practices, excellent customer relationship skills, and a proven ability to generate sales through project engagement and technical consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular project visits to identify upcoming opportunities and provide technical solutions to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, consultants, architects, and project owners.
  • Promote construction chemical products through technical presentations, demonstrations, and site support.
  • Generate inquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely conversion of leads into business.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support business growth.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer accounts.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.

Candidate Profile
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales within the Construction Chemicals, Building Materials, Waterproofing, Admixture, Repair & Rehabilitation, Flooring, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of project sales and construction site operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for project visits and client meetings.
