Technical Sales Engineer Linear Motion Solutions

Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Timken India for our Rollon linear motion products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background combined with proven sales experience, capable of driving business growth by providing technically sound solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage sales opportunities in assigned territory.
- Understand customer requirements, provide technical support, and recommend suitable solutions.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, machine builders, distributors, and end-users.
- Achieve sales targets and grow the customer base in line with company objectives.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams (application engineering, customer service, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Regularly update CRM with enquiries, leads, and sales activities.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) mandatory.
- 25 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in linear motion products, bearings, machine tool components, or automation solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems and industrial automation.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills Required:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical solutions and explain them to customers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively.
- Good knowledge of CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting.
