Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand project requirements, prepare proposals, and present suitable window and door solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, providing technical guidance, coordinating with the design and installation teams, and supporting customers throughout the sales cycle. The role involves preparing technical documentation, responding to product and installation queries, and ensuring accurate specifications and estimates. The Technical Sales Engineer will also maintain relationships with key stakeholders, track opportunities, and contribute to meeting sales and project delivery targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing.
- Candidates should possess Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements for aluminum windows and doors.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting product issues and advising on installation and performance considerations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
- Relevant experience in building materials, fenestration, construction, or related industries is preferred.
- Ability to conduct on-site assessments, prepare quotations, and use basic CAD or design tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or a technical discipline is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
