About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team specializing in cooling solutions for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth by promoting our state-of-the-art thermal management solutions for BESS applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the BESS cooling systems segment.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable cooling solutions (air-cooled, liquid-cooled, immersion, or hybrid systems).
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
- Provide pre-sales support including system sizing, thermal simulations, and solution customization.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain and grow relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, energy storage system integrators, and utilities.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in BESS thermal management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or related discipline).
- 37 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in cooling systems, HVAC, or battery storage applications.
- Strong understanding of thermal management, heat exchangers, liquid cooling, air cooling, and battery safety requirements.
- Proven experience in industrial sales, client acquisition, and project-based solution selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with BESS design and integration.
- Knowledge of standards and certifications in battery storage (e.g., IEC, UL, ISO).
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team involving R&D, engineering, and operations.
