Job Role
- Look up and advise on technical specifications of parts and create relations (crosses) with other items for the clearly defined product and / or brand range and address customer technical questions in order to facilitate the sales process and to provide direct technical support to sales teams, Product Development and other internal stakeholders.
- Technical Support / Lookup - Look up and advise on technical specifications (such as reference numbers, alternatives, etc.) of parts for the clearly defined product and / or brand range and address customer technical questions, within clear guidelines, in order to facilitate the sales process and to provide direct technical support to sales teams, product development teams and other internal stakeholders. Escalates look up questions if required.
- Customer Claims / Complaints - Receive, assess, respond to, and follow up complex/technical client requests and provide in-depth technical support related to part identification and insights and follow up on requests related to products/brands, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive customer support, contributing to customer retention and satisfaction. Manage requests, while providing customer need identification second-line support for TVH tools (such as Cojali, Jaltest hardware and software).
- Sample Analysis / QA - Analyze samples of parts for the clearly defined product and / or brand range to review whether they meet the set quality standards and advise/report out to the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Item management - Create relations (crosses) with other items, assign category IDs to newly created items and update technical information and product-compliance information for the assigned products and / or brands, in line with specific procedures in order to maintain the lifecycle of the assigned product / brand items.
- Data Management - Maintain and update product-related data, ensuring accuracy and consistency within the organization's systems.
- Assist in data analysis and reporting to support product and brand development efforts.
- Capability Building - Acquire and maintain sound technical knowledge for the of parts for the clearly defined product and / or brand range .
- Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies, industry trends, and product specifications.
- Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the organization's technical knowledge base.
- Projects - Participate in assigned projects (related to technical advice), in accordance with project management guidelines, to contribute to the effectiveness and realisation of projects
Experience And Qualification Criteria
- 2 to 6 yrs. as a Service Engineer who has hands on experience on spare parts of material handling equipment, construction equipment, commercial vehicles.
- Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Production/Automobile.
The candidate should be willing to work in an office environment.
