Technical Recruiter

Role: Technical Recruiter – Canada

Location: Hyderabad

Working Hours: Eastern Time (ET) Hours

Experience: 3–7 Years

We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to support IT hiring across Canada. The role involves end-to-end recruitment, candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination for a range of technical positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and other channels
• Use Boolean search, X-Ray search, and other sourcing techniques to identify relevant candidates
• Recruit for IT roles including Software Developers, Cloud Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, Cybersecurity professionals, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other technical positions
• Understand technical requirements and identify candidates who closely match the required skills and experience
• Screen candidates and validate their technical experience, availability, compensation/rate expectations, work authorization, and interest before submission
• Present qualified candidate profiles and coordinate interviews throughout the hiring process
• Maintain accurate candidate and requirement information in the ATS
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and upcoming requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in IT/Technical Recruitment
• Experience recruiting for the Canadian IT market
• Good understanding of technical roles and IT skill sets
• Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, X-Ray search, Indeed, and other job boards
• Experience recruiting for contract and permanent IT positions
• Good understanding of Canadian work authorization and employment eligibility, including Citizens, Permanent Residents (PR), and Work Permit holders
• Experience working with an ATS such as Bullhorn, Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, or similar
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced staffing environment

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting for Canadian provincial government or other public-sector clients
• Familiarity with government submission processes, mandatory criteria, and security clearance requirements
• Familiarity with AI-based recruitment and sourcing tools

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, aligned with Eastern Time (ET) hours
