Job Description: US IT Recruiter (3 to 5 years of experience)

Shift : US Shift 7 PM to 4 AM IST

Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and experienced US Recruiter to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment for IT and Engineering (Civil/Construction) roles, specifically within the US public sector domain. This role demands excellent sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement skills, with a strong understanding of technical requirements and compliance-driven hiring processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the complete recruitment processfrom understanding job requirements to onboarding candidatesfor IT and Civil/Construction Engineering roles.
- Sourcing: Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels including job boards (LinkedIn, indeed, Dice, etc.), internal databases, referrals, and social media platforms.
- Screening & Evaluation: Conduct resume reviews and phone screenings to assess candidates technical and functional skills, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- ATS & Database Management: Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) while building a proactive talent pipeline for recurring roles.
- Reporting: Share timely updates with internal teams and clients on hiring metrics, candidate pipeline status, and market insights.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current with trends in US public sector hiring, compliance standards, and evolving technologies in the IT and civil engineering space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred in Civil Engineering or related field).
- 35 years of experience in US recruitment, with a proven track record of working on public sector/government client requirements.
- Strong knowledge of IT roles (e.g., Cybersecurity, InfoSec) and Civil/Construction Engineering positions.
- Proficiency in Boolean search, job portals, social recruiting, and other sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with hiring processes specific to US federal and state government clients is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
