The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top technical talent across engineering, product, and IT functions. This role requires deep knowledge of technical roles, effective recruitment strategies, and the ability to build strong talent pipelines in a competitive market. The Technical Recruiter ensures a seamless candidate experience and supports hiring managers in identifying best-fit talent for organizational growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy
Understand the company's technical hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, profiles, and interview processes.
2. Sourcing & Pipeline Management
Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, job boards, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain a strong technical talent pipeline for current and future needs.
3. Screening & Selection
Conduct technical prescreens and assess candidates for both hard and soft skills.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring teams.
Provide detailed feedback to hiring managers and candidates.
4. Employer Branding
Promote the company's employer brand through engaging job ads, social media content, and participation in tech events or job fairs.
5. Data & Reporting
Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
Provide weekly/monthly hiring progress updates to HR leadership.
6. Candidate Experience
Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement.
Support onboarding activities in collaboration with HR and IT.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 5 years focused on technical roles.
Proven success in hiring software engineers, developers, DevOps, data scientists, or IT roles.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Boolean search, and technical assessment tools.
Understanding of software development lifecycles and tech stacks (e.g., Font End, Back End, Full Stack, Web2, Web3, DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Architecture, etc.)
