Technical Publications Specialist
Location: Bangalore
Experience:- 6-8 Years
Key Activities:
- Author and maintain Owner/User Manuals, Service & Maintenance Manuals, Installation Guides, Parts Catalogues (IPLs), Training Manuals, and Work Instructions
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and BOMs to develop accurate technical content
- Write clear step-by-step procedures with safety warnings, cautions, and notes
- Coordinate technical illustrations, exploded views, and diagrams
- Manage document revisions aligned with engineering changes
- Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end technical documentation authoring (not just illustration or red-markups)
- Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker for structured/technical publishing
- Experience with PLM/CAD tools — Windchill, Creo, or SolidWorks
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or equivalent for technical graphics
Deliverables Knowledge: PDF, print-ready, and digital documentation formats
Added Advantage: Multilingual documentation / translation coordination experience
