We are seeking a driven
Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end Electronics & Embedded Systems development for drone platforms. This role spans the entire lifecycle—from concept through production and field deployment—ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. The TPM bridges engineering, industrialization, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to drive cross-functional coordination and strategic program execution.
- Technical Ownership & Engineering Delivery
Own the end-to-end development lifecycle of electronics and embedded systems.
Drive architecture definition, system-level design, and integration planning.
Lead milestone reviews (TRRs, CDRs, PRRs) and gate assessments.
Manage project planning, resource allocation, and risk tracking.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Reliability
Implement DFM/DFT enhancements and system optimization.
Drive root cause analysis for validation and field issues.
Improve power efficiency, thermal management, and signal integrity.
- Firmware & Software Integration
Architect and maintain optimized firmware in
Embedded C for microcontroller platforms.
Collaborate on hardware-firmware co-design and regression testing.
- Supply Chain & Cost Optimization
Drive
BOM optimization and supplier consolidation to improve resilience.
Lead local sourcing and
indigenization of electronic sub-systems.
- Innovation & Knowledge Management
Integrate emerging technologies (sensors, ICs) into product roadmaps.
Leverage AI tools for design review and risk prediction.
Author and update
SOPs, design guidelines, and technical documentation.
- Leadership & Team Development
Provide hands-on coaching to junior and mid-level engineers.
Support hiring, onboarding, and structured training programs.
Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Embedded Systems;
M.Tech/M.E. preferred.
Years of Experience: 10+ years in R&D, with at least
4 years in project management.
Domain: Experience in
Drone/UAV, Aerospace, Defense, or Robotics is strongly preferred.
Technical Proficiencies
Tools: Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, and PDM/PLM systems (e.g., Windchill).
Hardware: Microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M), Power Electronics, and BMS.
Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, PWM, and Ethernet.
Testing: Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Project Management: Jira, Asana, MS Project, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
