Role Overview
Smart Ship Hub is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, proven project management expertise, and experience managing cross-functional teams across web, mobile, and cloud-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent technical projects.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using tools like MS Project and Gantt charts.
- Drive Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage feature releases, production deployments, and hotfix/patch releases.
- Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC process and best practices.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage dependencies across teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management.
- Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with MS Project, Gantt charts, and project planning tools.
- Experience with tools such as Zoho, JIRA, Azure DevOps for sprint and release management.
- Experience managing releases including feature rollouts and hotfix deployments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing projects involving Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, Java, PostgreSQL and MySQL etc. technologies.
- Experience managing mobile app projects (Flutter, Android & iOS).
- Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, MS Azure platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in risk management and issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification.
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain domain.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to DevOps tools and monitoring systems.
