Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in JIRA Administration, Agile Project Management, and Delivery Governance to support enterprise-scale technology initiatives within the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery while serving as the primary owner and administrator of the JIRA ecosystem, ensuring efficient workflow management, reporting, governance, and stakeholder visibility.
This role requires a blend of project management, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and hands-on JIRA administration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Manage end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Prepare project plans, release plans, sprint plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and vendors.
- Conduct Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
- Drive governance reviews and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Support requirement gathering, prioritization, and backlog management.
- Coordinate UAT, release management, and production deployments.
JIRA Administration & Governance
- Act as the primary JIRA Administrator for project and delivery teams.
- Configure and manage JIRA projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, permissions, and notification schemes.
- Create and maintain Agile boards, Kanban boards, Scrum boards, and dashboards.
- Design and implement workflow automation and process improvements within JIRA.
- Manage user roles, permissions, access controls, and project configurations.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, filters, gadgets, and executive dashboards.
- Support portfolio-level reporting, sprint analytics, velocity tracking, and resource utilization reporting.
- Ensure JIRA data quality, governance standards, and process compliance.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize JIRA usage and Agile processes.
- Provide user training, onboarding, and support for JIRA and Confluence.
- Manage integrations between JIRA and other enterprise tools where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Technical Project Management, Agile Delivery, or Project Coordination.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on JIRA Administration experience.
- BFSI domain experience preferred.
