Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who comes from a strong embedded / product engineering background and can own delivery from product initiation to development and deployment, especially in Automotive and Embedded domains.
This role demands someone who can speak the language of engineers, engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, and architect end-to-end solutions spanning Hardware, Firmware, OS, Applications, and Cloud integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery from product ideation, requirements, design, development to production release
- Act as the single point of contact for clients, managing communication, expectations, and delivery commitments
- Work closely with embedded, platform, and application teams to translate business requirements into technical execution.
- Drive execution across multi-layered teams including:
- HDL / Hardware
- Firmware & Linux Drivers
- AOSP / Android Platform
- Application Development
- ADL (Automotive Domain Layer)
- Business Analysts (BAs)
- UI/UX Designers
- Oversee automotive product development lifecycle, ensuring timelines, quality, and technical alignment.
- Enable cloud integration and app connectivity as part of modern embedded solutions.
- Review technical designs, architecture decisions, and development progress.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans across hardwaresoftware integrated programs.
- Build and drive solution-oriented approaches rather than only project coordination.
- Ensure delivery excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in technical project/program management in Embedded / Automotive / Product Engineering environments
- Strong understanding of embedded technologies and software development
- Ability to read, understand, and discuss code with engineering teams
- Hands-on experience in client interaction, requirement discussions, and delivery ownership
- Experience managing projects from product initiation to development and production
- Working knowledge of:
- Embedded Systems
- Automotive platforms
- Linux, Firmware, Drivers
- AOSP / Android stack
- App Development
- Cloud integration (IoT, backend connectivity, APIs)
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, OS, apps, UX, BA)
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build solutions, not just manage schedules
