Technical Project Manager
Job description:
Acting as a team leader, technical expert & mentor for a group of developers, define architecture, oversee development and implementation of projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical architecture and development activities for multiple cloud-native global product development initiatives.
- Design & architecture for the solutions, in line with the technology roadmap.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation and work with partners and /or internal engineering teams for building & testing solutions.
- Translate the product requirements into design of components in micro-services architecture for a DevOps implementation on cloud (Azure)
- Convert monolithic product into micro-services architecture
- Implement the PoCs, MVPs and solutions taking accountability for on-time and quality delivery.
- Drive end-to-end execution, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets for multiple, complex projects while balancing priorities and resource constraints.
- Continuously refine the product roadmap based on user feedback, market trends, and project performance.
- Provide regular updates on project and roadmap progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Act as the central point of contact for all project-related queries and updates.
- Manage change requests and assess their impact on timelines, budgets, and goals.
- Apply methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall, and Six Sigma, adapting them to project needs.
- Strong expertise in project planning, product roadmap creation, and cross-functional alignment.
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience in handling mid-size technical teams in Agile methodology in a CMMI L3+ / ITIL process environment
- Must have prior experience of defining Application Architecture
- Preferably experienced in delivering scalable, high concurrency cloud native products/ projects globally
- Should be able to articulate the design approaches/options clearly with the stake holders, providing supervision and guidance to development teams.
- Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Design, API Gateway
- Experience in database design and optimization in PostgreSql,
- An all-round knowledge of web application frameworks such as ReactJs, Python and Python frameworks
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Azure and DevOps
- Working knowledge of AI/ML development, RPA, vector databases, NLP and LLM will be added advantage
Qualifications
- B.E/B.TECH in Computer Science / Electronics or equivalent qualification in related fields
- Preferred a certification in PMP/ PRINCE2, and certification in Agile (SAFe, CSM)
- Minimum overall experience of 10+ years in delivery in a SaaS based multi-tenant product company
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
