Technical Project Manager
About the Role
Office Beacon is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead client-facing technology projects, manage the internal project management team, coordinate with development vendors, and ensure the successful delivery of full-stack software solutions. The TPM will act as the technical face of the department and drive clarity, structure, and excellence across all technology engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Communication Leadership
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and prospects
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, clear explanations for non-technical Stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement sessions, demos, solution walkthroughs, and regular status calls.
Project Delivery & Team Management
- Lead end-to-end project management: planning, execution, QA, UAT, and deployment.
- Manage and mentor the internal project management team to ensure delivery discipline and quality.
- Run scrum ceremoniesdaily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Prepare project plans, SOWs, roadmaps, and documentation.
- Handle risk management, escalations, timelines, and scope control.
Technical Oversight
- Understand and guide full-stack development: front-end, back-end, APIs, databases,
- cloud, and integrations.
- Review technical requirements, user stories, architecture suggestions, and feasibility
- Evaluations.
- Stay updated on AI/ML trends, automation tools, and modern development frameworks.
- Support pre-sales with effort estimation, solutioning, and proposal inputs.
Vendor & Resource Coordination
- Coordinate with external development vendors for deliverables, timelines, and quality checkpoints.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between full-time, part-time, and vendor resources.
- Align resource planning with project goals and client expectations.
Operational Excellence
- Enforce delivery processes, documentation standards, and communication protocols.
- Provide weekly reports, dashboards, and updates to leadership.
- Support scalable systems for project tracking, workload distribution, and capacity planning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 510 years of experience in technical project management.
- Strong understanding of full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, databases, and CI/CD.
- Awareness of AI/ML concepts, LLM-based integrations, and modern automation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira/Asana, Git, Figma, Postman, DevOps workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- PMP, CSM, or Agile certification.
- Experience working with remote teams or IT service companies.
- Exposure to multi-vendor environments
