Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong software development background and deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a software developer and possess strong technical knowledge along with project management expertise.
This role requires leading cross-functional engineering teams, managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver software projects
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Own and manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and demos
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Manage sprint planning, task tracking, effort estimation, and timelines
- Collaborate with developers and architects on technical design alignment
- Track engineering progress using JIRA or Agile tools
- Ensure DevOps practices, testing strategies, and release management
- Drive project delivery while maintaining quality and timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 812 years of total experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Project Manager / Scrum Master
- Prior experience working as a software developer
- Strong knowledge of one programming language (Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Deep understanding of system architecture, APIs, and development pipelines
- Mandatory Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
