ABOUT MEDIKABAZAAR

Medikabazaar is a technology-led B2B healthcare supply chain platform. We connect hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and diagnostic centres across India with medical supplies, consumables and equipment through a digital marketplace backed by our own supply chain, financing and analytics stack. Our technology team builds the systems that make healthcare procurement faster, more transparent and more affordable for care providers of every size.

ROLE SUMMARY

Own the delivery of engineering programs across multiple squads. You will run the planning, governance and dependency management that turns a roadmap into predictable, on-time releases — and be the person who sees the risk before it becomes a slip.

REPORTING & STAKEHOLDERS

Reports into the CTO organization. Works with Engineering Managers and squads, Product Managers, QA, DevOps, Design, Information Security, and business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own end-to-end delivery for assigned programs — scope, plan, schedule, dependencies, risks and release.
Run Agile ceremonies across squads: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and backlog grooming support.
Maintain a single, credible view of program status; publish clear weekly updates to engineering and business leadership.
Identify and manage cross-team and third-party dependencies proactively; drive them to resolution rather than reporting on them.
Own release governance in partnership with QA and DevOps — release calendar, go/no-go, cutover plans and rollback readiness.
Maintain risk and issue registers with named owners and dates; escalate early and with a recommendation.
Track and improve delivery metrics — velocity, sprint predictability, cycle time, escaped defects and release adherence.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering process, tooling and documentation hygiene.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

3–5 years managing technical or software delivery in a product engineering environment.
Strong command of Agile and Scrum, and ideally Kanban; able to adapt process to team maturity rather than apply it dogmatically.
Ability to understand technical architecture, APIs and engineering trade-offs well enough to challenge estimates and spot risk.
Excellent stakeholder communication — can hold a room of engineers and a room of executives with the same credibility.
Hands-on expertise with Jira (boards, workflows, reporting) and Confluence.
Structured risk and dependency management; comfortable driving accountability without direct authority.

GOOD-TO-HAVE

CSM, PSM, PMP or SAFe certification.
Prior background as a developer, QA engineer or business analyst.
Experience with cloud and platform, integration, or compliance-driven programs.
Experience managing outsourced or vendor development teams.
