Role Overview
Technical Project Manager is a delivery owners role responsible for driving end-to-end execution of multiple MarTech projects. This role combines client-facing leadership, strong technical depth, and execution rigor to deliver high-quality, scalable MarTech and web solutions.
TPM acts as the single owner for 2-3 technical projects, owns everything from understanding client requirements, converting them into clear execution plans, partnering with solution SMEs and domain experts, onboarding and enabling delivery teams, and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery with measurable value.
This role requires strong experience in MarTech platforms, web development, and execution of complex, high-value programs, along with the ability to drive structure, quality, and continuous improvement across delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Client & Engagement Ownership
- Act as the primary client and delivery owner for assigned MarTech engagements.
- Own end-to-end client alignment, expectations, and delivery confidence across multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead requirement discovery with clients and translate business and marketing needs into clear delivery scope.
- Be the trusted point of contact for clients on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Ensure client value realization while maintaining scope, quality, and delivery discipline.
Strategy, Planning & Solution Alignment
- Convert client requirements into structured execution plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
- Partner with solution SMEs and domain experts to define the right technical and MarTech solutions.
- Balance business goals, technical feasibility, scalability, timelines, and governance.
- Drive solution clarity before execution and prevent downstream delivery ambiguity.
Technical & Execution Leadership
- Provide hands-on technical leadership drawing from prior engineering or tech lead experience.
- Guide teams on architecture, integrations, CMS execution patterns, and MarTech best practices.
- Ensure strong engineering standards around performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Be execution-focused across multiple projects with high business and customer impact.
Delivery & Program Management
- Own end-to-end delivery from project kickoff through release and post-delivery review.
- Drive sprint planning, execution tracking, risk management, and dependency resolution.
- Ensure predictable delivery through strong execution discipline and delivery governance.
- Own delivery quality, timelines, and outcomes across all assigned projects.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Enablement
- Lead and coordinate across engineering, QA, UX, content, SEO, analytics, security, and platform teams.
- Onboard delivery teams effectively and set clear expectations on roles, ownership, and quality.
- Drive accountability, collaboration, and a culture of execution excellence.
- Identify gaps in delivery processes and implement improvements and best practices.
AI & Continuous Improvement
- Leverage AI-assisted tools and automation to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and speed.
- Identify opportunities to use AI in planning, execution, QA, documentation, and reporting.
- Continuously optimize delivery processes to improve project outcomes and team productivity.
Your Expertise
- 8+ years of overall experience with clear progression from engineering into technical delivery and client-facing technical leadership roles.
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to drive structure, quality, and outcomes.
- Ability to operate confidently with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
- Education: B.E / B.Tech / MBA or equivalent.
- Strong experience with CMS and MarTech execution including WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Headless CMS, Contentful, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of full-stack web application development.
- Strong knowledge of the MarTech ecosystem including content, SEO, analytics, and digital experience platforms.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects in parallel with high client visibility.
- Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) and automation-driven workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
