Role Overview
At Incedo Technology, the Principal Engineer Technical Program Management plays a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of large-scale, complex technology programs. This is a high-impact position for a seasoned technologist who blends hands-on engineering excellence, architectural thinking, and leadership to deliver business-critical solutions.
You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to shape technical strategy, design scalable systems, and ensure seamless end-to-end executionwhile mentoring teams and setting high standards for engineering quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Write high-quality, production-grade code, participate in rigorous code reviews, and create architecture and design documents for systems of varying complexity.
- Partner with clients to understand business and technical requirements, translate them into robust technical designs, and define end-to-end delivery approaches.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersestablish quality gates, best practices, and engineering standards.
- Drive CI/CD adoption, secure coding practices, unit testing frameworks, and improved test coverage across teams.
- Own the growth, maturity, and performance of the team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Inspire and motivate teams through strong leadership, clear communication, and a hands-on approach.
- Promote an open, inclusive, and high-performing engineering environment aligned with Incedo's long-term vision.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong software engineering experience with Technologies such as Java/Dot Net Core
- Hands-on experience with Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.
- Proven expertise in building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.
- Working knowledge of UNIX / Shell scripting (good to have).
- Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM / SAFe).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and troubleshoot complex systems.
- High adaptability to changing technologies, priorities, and business needs.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- 1113 years of relevant industry experience.
- B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / MCA from a reputed university (Computer Science background preferred).
