The opportunity:

The Project Manager - troubleshooting at INOPC will be a member of PGSV - CH 2657 team and will support and further strengthen our growing team in the Service Department of High Voltage Products. You will successfully manage entire troubleshooting cases to define a proper solution for stakeholders and customers. From beginning to end of the case you confidently represent the interests of Hitachi Energy towards our customers. It is our goal to continuously improve our results and to offer excellent commercial and technical solutions.

How you'll make an impact:

  • You will be responsible for the successful execution of our diverse troubleshooting cases starting with the customer inquiry until the successful completion of site works (leakages, flashovers, exchange actions, offering overhauls and many more).

  • After taking over the case you will arrange the project team with members from the required disciplines and ensure that each member completes the assigned tasks and work packages according to the project plan which you created.

  • During the project execution, you will define and successfully manage all project milestones and ensure the on-time delivery of our products.

  • In case of deviations, you will proactively initiate the appropriate actions to bring the project back on track.

  • As the first point of contact to the customer you ensure customer satisfaction with your open and proactive communication.

  • With your commercial experience you will successfully manage the contract with the customer and support the selection of suppliers for special products.

  • Your tasks include the management of changes in scope of delivery and the active increase of revenue and project margin as well as the reduction of project risks.

  • You will be responsible for regular project reporting to management and whenever you see improvement potential in your project or in the general project execution you share your knowledge with the team.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a degree in BTech (EEE, Mech), 5 years experience in product troubleshooting. GIS / GCB preferred.

  • Project management certification is highly desired.

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in project management.

  • You are business fluent in English. German is an asset.

  • Ideally, you have experience in SAP as well as product knowledge in GCB and/or GIS.

  • To be successful in this job you require excellent communication and organizational skills.
