Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, with a focus on technical projects. They should have experience of managing software development projects, and should be able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage software development projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions.
- Develop project scope, timeline, budget, and resource requirements.
- Manage project risks and mitigate potential issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage project documentation, including project plans, requirements documents, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage project resources, including staffing, procurement, and vendor management.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct project post-mortems and identify lessons learned for future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on software development projects.
- Proven experience in managing software development projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage project risks and mitigate potential issues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience with software development tools such as Git, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with project management for large-scale or complex projects.
- Experience with project management for international or remote teams.
- Experience with project management for security-focused or compliance-focused projects.
